I completed my secondary education at the Cabra Dominican College in 1990.  I wanted to work with people in the health sector and with my hands as I loved art since I was a child. I was thrilled to be accepted at the University of Adelaide to obtain my Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1991. I completed my degree in 1995. I went on to complete a Bachelor of Science in Dentistry in 1996. I worked part time during that year in Adelaide.

I decided to accept a full time public dental position in Kangaroo Island in 1997. I believed that that was the best way for me to gain a wealth of dental experience. The island is comparatively isolated. I had to take on the daily running of the surgery as well as providing a wide range of dental services to the local community for the next few years. Having spent my time in the public sector I decided that I needed to move into the private sector. I felt that I was limited by the Government funding to the too basic fill and drill routine at best.  I felt that it was only a bandaid service.

I worked in a private surgery in Whyalla with Michael between 2000 and 2001.  I gained more experience again but most importantly I gained more satisfaction and pride in my work. I was able to provide preventive, restorative and cosmetic dental services. All to soon and we felt that we should be closer to our families and we moved back to Adelaide. We were employed to work in this surgery and by the end of our first year back we became the proud new owners of the Paralowie Dental Service.

Our journey continues. Our goals and aims are stronger than ever. We are here to provide  good, up to date dental care to all our patients in a safe and comfortable setting. We have a wonderful, drivin team who are proud of our practice and the services that we provide. We hope to forge long term relationships with our staff and patients.
